The transition into spring

Londoners can finally say Spring is upon us!

I have officially packed away the large coats and put out the more lighter clothing. I think It's important to flag that during this time you can mix and match winter and summer outfits. For example it might not be too hot or too cold so you can pair a jumper with shorts or a jumper with a skirt (as I did below). Personally this is one of my favourite seasons to style. I went out for dinner with my family the other day and I wanted to be really dressy but at the same time I didn't want to complain about being cold. That led me to the midi skirt (with a slit) and a sparkly jumper!

You don't need a layer and you can show of that new top you just bought without having to leave on a jacket - I know the feeling!

Elan Cafe | Knightsbridge

How do I even start this post?... because honestly the images do it so much justice. This place has been dubbed the most 'Instagrammable cafe' in London. There are two branches one in Knightsbridge which I visited and the other in Park Lane. You must have heard of it or seen images on social media - if not, I'm sure after flicking through my post it will be added to your 'go-to' list.

Elan Cafe caught my attention when I saw the flower wall on Instagram (you can see this below).  I made a day out of it and took a stroll around Knightsbridge, which is beautiful area.

Off the shoulder ..

Now, if you haven't seen the 'off the shoulder' trend I do not know where you have been. I must say, I am really loving it. A lot of the tops I buy and wear these days have been 'off the shoulder' - amazing for this warm season and it is very flattering for many body types. You can find really dressy ones for nights out or keep it casual during the day like I did (below).

Personal Update and OOTD

Hello everyone,

Yes I know, it has been too long since I last blogged but with all good reason don't worry. I have been very busy with uni assignments and since I'm in my last year I have had to make that my top priority and forget everything else. Over the past 2 months I have been swamped with deadlines and a dissertation to complete. Which is why unfortunately my blog has been really quiet lately but that does not been I have not been missing it. On a positive note since I have been a way I have also been doing quite a bit of shopping, ok did I say 'quite' I mean a lot. I'm sure I'm not the only one that seeks for retail therapy when they are feeling overwhelmed with any issues. I have so many new bits that I'm excited to show off to you all.
