CHECK MATE | Trend alert

If you haven't seen this timeless trend lately - where have you been?

I have been trying recently to not jump on the bandwagon of trends because I feel like they are a waste of money. By the time you have worn the piece twice, it's 'out of fashion'. The best way to shop and something I wish I had learnt a while ago is to buy 'timeless pieces' these are pieces that you will be able to wear for years. Most timeless pieces are simple and that's great because you can get a lot of wear out of them. Some of these pieces aren't cheap but my little excuse is - it's a fashion investment!

Check out (no pun intended) the blazer I got from Zara the other day. I adore it. I can wear it to work, dinners or make it super casual. I might plan another post showing you how else I'd wear it. Otherwise I'll leave you to take a look at the images. Link to this blazer is below.

Concrete Jungle | New York

I really do not even know where to start!... Anyone that knows me will know it has been a dream of mine to go the US let alone NY. Since I knew I’d only be there for 5 days, I made sure I scheduled each day and visited most of the places on my list. When I go on holiday you guys will already know this – I do thorough research into the city. Looking at the best restaurants, bars, clubs, shopping malls etc. And the most instagrammable chill spots of course! There are loads of websites on what to do in New York and I’m sure majority of you will have been lucky enough to visit, so I'll not bore you with all of that but take a look at my pictures blow.

If you have any questions I’d be more than happy to give you some of my recommendations. FYI, on this holiday I was like a baby in a sweet store, in absolute awe of everything, even the corner shops! I can confidently say I will be heading back. If I could, I’d visit once a year. I felt so at ease and comfortable. It's on my list of ‘happy places’.

What to wear in Marbs

So as promised here are a few pics of the outfits my friends and I wore on holiday!
My phrase in Marbs was 'Do the most' simply meaning I wanted be extra and look extra any chance I had. I wore make up majority of the holiday. As mentioned in the last post, you never know who you'll bump into and we did bump into quite a few celebs.

Maxi Dress, Boohoo

Swimsuit, Missguided// Cover up, Mermaids Swimwear

I doubt you'll go to Marbs without attending a few beach parties, I mentioned a  few in my last post so check that out. In terms of what to wear, you should wear your sexist swimsuit and cover ups. The parties we attended all the girls look very glam! And yes, I know you'e thinking ... 'what shoes should I wear?'. Your best bet would be wedges. You'll be able to dance in them all day and still look stunning. I personally would not suggest flats - but then again it depends what beach parties you will be attending. Make sure you do your research.

At the end of it all just have a FAB time with your girls - that's all that matters at the end of the day!, I would most definitely recommend Marbella (Peurto Banus) for a #GirlsTrip

Hope you enjoy the post xxx

TREND ALERT!

Lately, I have been loving this new bardot trend as I mentioned during the summer. This autumn I have seen bloggers and celebs continue the style, by making their own bardot clothing. You can do it with shirts and even jean jackets (as seen below). My inspo was Rihanna, I will try find the pic and insert it below as well.

I will not tag the brands, only because these are old items I just put together to create the look I wanted. You will definitely be able to do the same with what you currently have.

Hope you enjoy this post!
