Stylist Live

Last Saturday I attended the Stylist Live event for the first and I must say I really enjoyed it. If you have been before you know it's a chilled vibe but there's load to do; from panel discussions, catwalk shows and loads of food/beauty/fashion stalls. It's also a good place to meet new people and other bloggers!

I couldn't get over how many Instagrammable back drops there were. I didn't get to take pics behind them all because of the long queues ... yes QUEUES .. Everyone loves to 'Do it for the Gram' these days lol.

CHECK MATE | Trend alert

If you haven't seen this timeless trend lately - where have you been?

I have been trying recently to not jump on the bandwagon of trends because I feel like they are a waste of money. By the time you have worn the piece twice, it's 'out of fashion'. The best way to shop and something I wish I had learnt a while ago is to buy 'timeless pieces' these are pieces that you will be able to wear for years. Most timeless pieces are simple and that's great because you can get a lot of wear out of them. Some of these pieces aren't cheap but my little excuse is - it's a fashion investment!

It's been a bit chilly in London recently. But as the temperature drops it doesn't mean you can't wear a colourful outfit. This playsuit is perfect for the weather. It's sexy, colourful and you aren't showing too much skin (just enough!).

TREND ALERT!

Lately, I have been loving this new bardot trend as I mentioned during the summer. This autumn I have seen bloggers and celebs continue the style, by making their own bardot clothing. You can do it with shirts and even jean jackets (as seen below). My inspo was Rihanna, I will try find the pic and insert it below as well.

I will not tag the brands, only because these are old items I just put together to create the look I wanted. You will definitely be able to do the same with what you currently have.

Fall | OOTD

Autumn is here and I love it. Well I love this season because it's not too cold and not too warm which means you can wear jumpers, jackets, tights but you do not have to layer up too much like winter. Autumn in London has not been the best, it has been windy and wet although the temperature is not bad (it's weird). This makes it a bit difficult to dress according to the weather because you never know if it will change. The past few weeks I have been shopping for the season; getting a few jumpers, cardigans and thick leggings. So, I thought I would do an outfit of the day to show you what I dress in for the season   :-) Hope you like it, you can leave a comment too.
